RD chances at Swarthmore, W&M and George Washington

DD applied regular decision to these schools for an international affairs concentration. Can anyone tell me if these three schools favor their EA or ED applicants significantly? I've heard that colleges vary in the proportion of early applicants they take vs regular decision applicants. So far she's been accepted to UMD Honors and another similar safety that gave her merit aid. She was deferred from her reach, Georgetown.

If it helps, here is her profile:
4.7 weighted gpa
11 AP courses including senior year, 6 exams (mostly 5s, one 4).
35 ACT
Significant hours at one small job, and significant hours at one volunteering position, neither of which is relevant to her major - it's just what she could get during the pandemic, and she's continued ever since.
Native language weekend school, one philosophy club at public high school.
Thoughtful essays customized for each school, presenting multi-national background as a reason why she wants to go into international affairs. Her parental ethnicity is so mixed, I don't know if she's considered URM.

Thank you for your thoughts.

Out of state, female and RD don’t help her chances.

At W and M, demonstrated interest is big, so she should take a tour and really focus hard on the essay about that.

I'd be feeling pretty confident about W&M (especially if Virginia resident) and GW
Swarthmore unlikely unless she's considered a URM

OP here. Sorry, I forgot to mention we're MD residents.

You don’t know if URM? Come on. What box was checked — then maybe we can help.

At this point, I’m sorry to be so harsh but she should have forgotten about gtown with that EA policy and applied ED to Swarthmore, followed by W&M ED2 if not accepted by Swat
Even if you applied for FA you can still get released from ED agreement

Parents need to wake up and forget about comparing FA when all acceptances are in!

Georgetown SFS v. College, each has their admissions priorities

Did she write down any other ECs or awards?

OP here. Financial aid is not a consideration. Yes, perhaps we messed up, we are foreigners and don't know all the ins and outs of this. She applied to Georgetown SFS.

To answer other PPs:

1. She has the AP exam awards, one school award for having taken a challenging course load, and a government certificate of proficiency in her native language, because it was not taken through her public school. She took Latin at school to fulfill the language requirement and is in AP Latin this year.
2. The ethnicity box she checked does not reflect all her multi-culturalism from various countries, which she expanded on in her essay. But if URM just means Black or Hispanic, then no, she is not URM.

That gpa is not particularly high coming from MD public high schools. Is that where she is?

Yes, MCPS.

4.7 at end of junior year is high. There are a few kids (very few) who graduate with high 4.8s but they weren’t there at end of junior year.

Do you even indicate major for Swat and W&M? Not sure that will matter unless they are specific programs (like Georgetown SFS). Seems like she is a good candidate for all those schools but Swat is a lottery so who knows. GW seems likely but not sure it would be better than UMD Honors.

William and Mary reports weighted GPA by typical Virginia standards, which are different from MCPS.

Please recalculate with 4.0 = A for general education classes, 4.5 = A for honors classes, and 5.0 = A for AP/IB classes.

MCPS overweights honors classes, so you aren’t comparing apples with apples.

GW unlikely - really?

And URM = Black, Latino, or Native American.
