His true calling is campaign consultant. He can fundraise and message. You have to give him credit for that. He’s failed at policy so hopefully no one will hire him to do that. |
| What did he accomplish in MoCo? |
| He'll run for a seat in the General Assembly and lose |
| Hopefully, he goes away forever. |
Ding, Ding, Ding. |
12 years on the council and nothing to show for it but Tweets. |
Except his own campaign message was a failure. He’s a bullsh*tter that has mostly gotten away with it because he’s been able to do it with little to no scrutiny. But when people point out that he’s full of it, he turns into a thin skinned prick. |
| He'll run for CE again in 3 years |
Feels like he'll be a professor or something. His time in Moco is done, unless they gift him the planning board chair job- which would be quite something. |
| Just like Roger Berliner. He'll become a consultant/lobbyist. |
| State Senator |
Professor of what? He has BA from UC Santa Cruz. |
You’re not giving Hans enough credit. He maxed out public matching funds and got 20 percent of the vote even though: 1. He had no accomplishments to speak of during his 12 years on the council. Sure, he sponsored a lot of bills that passed, but then what happened? Nothing. 2. He waffled on so many key issues that he looked like a liar. 3. He handed out outrageous subsidies for millionaires who donated to his first campaign. That all takes a lot of skill (especially no. 3 — he got a lot of progressives to embrace trickle down economics) and this site doesn’t give Hans enough credit. |
