Uses for miso paste

I've never cooked with miso paste.
I saw it at Trader Joe's and bought it on a whim.

Please tell me how you use miso paste and any successful recipes you've used.

Find any recipe with “miso butter.” It’s great with a lot of veggies - miso butter and corn, miso green beans, etc.

Spread a thin layer on fish before baking.

NyTimes has a miso peanut butter cookie that is delicious, for something non traditional.

marinade for pork (miso, merin, soy, sugar)
salad dressing
fast stir-fry veggies (see pork marinade)
broth for noodles (can use super-cheap raman ones; throw out the spice packet)

I mix miso and honey and put on salmon for baking.

It adds umami to a lot of foods.
