What do you think of this recipe for a teen breakfast? It's simple, easy, and tastes good. I adapted it from this recipe.
https://www.marthastewart.com/1034356/skillet-chocolate-chip-cookie#reviewSection

1/4 cup olive oil
1/3 cup packed dark-brown sugar
1 large egg
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
3/4 cup all-purpose flour (spooned and leveled)
1/4 cup almond flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup chopped walnuts
3/4 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large bowl, combine oil and sugars with a wooden spoon. Stir in egg and vanilla. Stir in flours, baking soda, salt, and optional cinnamon. Stir in chips and walnuts.
I use a 1.5 tbspoon cookie scoop and bake for 10 minutes.

I am confused as to why you need to make breakfast for your teen? They are old enough to do that and should be.

Sure cookie is fine. It is still just a cookie.

This is not a breakfast. This is a snack/dessert.

I am so tired of tasting olive oil in baked goods. Blech.

These are granola bars in the shape of a cookie. They do look pretty healthy but teens will never eat these.

Far too low in protein. Have your teen fry themselves 2 eggs.

Damn near every breakfast cookie recipe I’ve ever seen is a variation of this. It’s typically oats, nut butters, and “healthy” add-ins.

I used to make the rachel ray breakfast cookie. Those were pretty good.

I don’t think teens are supposed to have to simplistic, sweet seeking taste buds of kids in a 1990s commercial for SunnyD. OP’s “recipe” is just cookies.

Why does your teen need a cookie for breakfast? OST teens don’t only eat sugary breakfasts.

Egg bites are popular with teens and can be made ahead. Starbucks serves them too.

My whole family likes this. It can also be baked in a square pan and cut in squares. To reheat cover with a damp paper towel and microwave for 30 sec at a time until hot enough.

https://www.dietdoctor.com/recipes/keto-egg-muffins you can vary the meat or cheese based on what you have. If freezing them, I put a few in the fridge overnight to defrost. Easy to eat on the go, too.

A chocolate chip cookie is not a healthy breakfast and it will lead to a sugar crash.
