I love my minivan!

There, I said it. I love the roominess, the convenience of the automatic doors, the amount of seating for hauling kids and their friends, the amount of storage when we go on road trips. I just love it- especially compared to my luxury SUV. I never thought I would love a minivan, but if you have kids, there is just no comparison. I no longer care that I am no longer cool because I love my minivan, ha!

Ha! Love this. Yea it’s true I love my minivan. Can fit my two kids and a bunch of kids for soccer carpool, fit eight of us when friends visited, used to change my kids in the car, just amazing. So comfy, roomy. Wish I had an all wheel drive one!!! But ours is paid off and I think we’ll just keep it. Costco snow tires for the win when needed!!

I loved my minivans.I finally got rid of it when my kids went to college. I went to a smaller SUV and while I love driving it, I miss all of the storage, the ability to haul items, and the ability to fit extended family when they come to visit.

My minivan, like my twins, is 15 years old. I thought I’d be downsizing at this point, but we adopted a large dog and he travels with us sometimes. We can fit our family of 4 humans, plus our luggage, plus him and his large dog bed in our minivan. I need all the cargo space, so I’ll be driving a minivan at least until the kids leave home…and maybe after that, if I get a second large dog.

Minivans are awesome! I try to rent one when we go on vacation. We can’t own one because we live in a snowy climate where we have to have at least 8” of clearance due to snowbanks etc. Those automatic sliding doors are great.

SAME. Everyone prefers my minivan to their luxury SUVs- all of our parents, dh, my friends. The van just fits my lifestyle. I really think cars should work for you and make you life easier. It's like an electrician who refuses to get a truck and tries to make a Honda Civic work- just get the truck!

Some highlights
-we go on a road trip and everything and everyone fits.
-I open the door at school drop off automatically and it automatically closes
-my kids never hit other cars with their doors.
-you can easily walk to the 3rd row without popping a seat up.

Much to my husband’s chagrin, our 8 year old minivan isn’t going anywhere anytime soon. It’s just too comfortable, and too practical. I am keeping it until it’s no longer usable at all.

I have a 2006 minivan with over 200,000 miles. I love it. My kids are nearly grown, but when the van dies I will replace it with another minivan. It’s great for hauling all kinds of things.

What kind is it? My parents had a Toyota Sienna and a Honda odyssey that lasted forever. They were loathe to give them up even though the kids had left home long since and there were no more carpools!

I was a Never Mini van Person. And then I had two kids. I remember the first time I took both kids to the store (2 under 2) and all I wanted was a mini van.
Now that we have one I don’t know if I’ll ever not have one.

My MIL had a minivan and got a new SUV a few years ago but she misses her mini van so much. She always jokes she thought getting an SUV was an upgrade but the space isn’t there as it is in the mini van.
