| 5 shot, one dead at a home |
| Near Woodbridge, way down 95 in VA. Looks like a domestic disturbance and police are saying no threat to the community at large. https://www.fox5dc.com/news/dumfries-domestic-shooting-child-dead-4-others-hurt.amp |
| Dumfries is right outside Quantico. OP, you need to include a link. |
Triangle is just outside Quantico. |
| An arrest was made |
| This shooting was over food stamps https://www.washingtonpost.com/dc-md-va/2023/01/05/dumfries-five-shot-toddler-killed/ |
He killed a 3 year old baby over food stamps? |
yes and shot others he was also a fugitive |
“Kenyatta Lee Oglesby, 20, of the District” made the mistake of murdering that poor baby in cold blood in the state of Virginia. |
dc reduces the penalty for violent crime even more. Had he done this in dc given his age he would be eligible for release in 15 years |
Very strong likelihood that the state of Virgina is never going to let him see the outside of a prison cell. Considering that he killed a baby, it’s also very possible that any sentence would be in effect a death penalty. https://www.wbtw.com/news/state-regional-news/north-carolina-man-convicted-of-murdering-infant-killed-in-prison/amp/ |
DC should stop immediately putting criminals back on the streets. But they won’t. This is what voters want, minimal if any jail time. |
It’s a good point. DC needs to bear some responsibility for the murder of that baby. |
|
In a rational society, this “no cash bail” experiment would have ended yesterday when this man murdered a 3 year old baby over an EBT card.
“Court records show he had failed to show up for a D.C. court hearing in a weapons case in October, and a warrant had been issued for his arrest.” |
| Just crazy behavior. |
