I think that was one of the worst and most upsetting things I've ever watched unfold on television. I will be thinking about Hamlin and his family tonight. I hope this is just a terrible night in a long and beautiful life for him.

He was given oxygen when they were putting him in ambulance and game has been suspended and both teams sent to locker room.

Truly awful to watch that. I saw a tweet that he had CPR and AED, has a pulse but not breathing on own. This is just terrible.

Praying it works out like Christian Eriksen in the 2020 (soccer) Euros. He’s made a complete recovery after cardiac arrest/no pulse on the field.

Apparently, only Goodell can call game off and he needs to do so immediately. It must be a prerequisite that to qualify to be football commissioner, you must be an unfeeling dolt.

It may be unprecedented, but it should not be surprising. The NFL doesn't care about the players' health and safety.

I think the teams could force his hand by just refusing to play. If both teams refused, with the entire teams and coaching staffs united, it honestly would not matter what Goodell or the owners wanted. Let them be ghouls and defend trying to force these people to play a football team while fearing for their friend and teammates life. What thinking person will take their side?

I am a huge football fan and I have absolutely zero interest in watching this game. I will not watch if they play it.

A small bright light that his family is there and his mom was able to accompany him to the hospital. Praying for a speedy recovery for this talented young man.
