At the time, I knew most of the music was synthesizer crap and I still think so. But it’s fun to hear and makes me think of my teen years.

Loved the 80s then. Love them now in a sentimental way - EXCEPT the movies. We tried to watch some with our kids and some of my old favs didn’t age well and are truly terrible. So cringey.

What were your faves? I think I would still like Fame and Flashdance — especially the music — although I’m sure my perspective would be different.

Lucky DD! Please tell your friend that their efforts and designs were very much appreciated and enjoyed! Looking back, some of my dresses were quite sophisticated, and beautifully designed.
