Buche de Noel

Anonymous
I'm looking to order a buche de Noel for Christmas dinner. We're in McLean so I would prefer to pickup in Northern Virginia or Northwest DC. Any recommendations of ones you've tried and liked?

I never got their buche, but his cakes are all really good and well done:

We just ordered one from Paul Bakery in Tyson’s. Can’t wait to pick it up.

Amphora’s in Herndon, or drive out to Leesburg for Dolce and Ciabatta.

Fresh baguette has really good ones. I believe you have to order them a day or two ahead of time? We had the praline one but they all look good

Patisserie Poupon (Gtown), praline (Bethesda) and Tout de Sweet (Bethesda) all do a great job. I usually end up going to 2 of the 3, choosing which based on flavors. Grand Marnier from Poupon and chocolate raspberry from Praline have been big hits.
