What’s a good appetizer to bring to a party to share?

That can be assembled in under an hour and eaten at room temp?

If snacky is okay vs a “real” app. These are super easy and yummy. I do like to add some dried cherries or cranberries.

Thanks! I thought about doing spiced nuts, but do people want something that dozens of hands will be fishing around in, including kids?

A cheese plate is so easy and best at room temp.
Tomato mozzarella pesto skewers
If you can bring in a cooler, the easiest is sour cream and onion dip with ripple chips

They’re so good and rarely made. It’s not an appetizer but would likely be well received.

To offer a differing opinion, I love Ina and have made this dip and think it is pretty flavorless - reminds me of the dip that comes with a store bought crudite platter that no one touches. But, I fully respect pp and others may love it. (and I guess I didn’t add much because the takeway is that you will please some, not all, with whatever you bring!)

I echo the mozz/cherry/tomato/basil skewer idea (I’d drizzle evoo and balsamic glaze over the platter) - it is healthy with veg and protein (so a good counterpoint to the desserts all around this time of year - the pp’s suggested dip and crudite also achieving that goal!), it looks festive this time of year with red, green and white, it is individually easy to eat (pick up a skewer) without other’s hands on it.

PP here. I love the mozz/cherry tomato/basic skewers, too! As for the dip, I'm not saying it's a unique flavor, but I do think it's delicious and goes quickly at parties.
