| I’ve arranged house cleaners to come every two weeks starting in the new year. This is new for me! They’re hired through a service. Do I tip them? If so, how much? TIA! |
| I always just did one holiday tip that was equivalent to what I would pay for one service. |
| Tip at the holidays. Is it through a company or are they individual people who clean? Depends on their tipping practices - you may want to ask them directly. Though, if it is for a big company, you might want to consider slipping them their own tip, so the company doesn't make them divvy it up. |

I tip once a year, at the end of the year. I tip the equivalent of one cleaning.
My housekeeper is coming next week, at which point I'll pay her $160 for the cleaning, and separately as a "thank you" - another $160. |
They’re hired through a company. Thanks for the guidance! |
| We have a single person come who works for herself. I pay her in cash every 2 weeks and give her $100 in cash at Christmas. |
No. The tipping craze is over the top! I give $50 at Christmas. |
| $10 per cleaner (team of 4) for once monthly service, $20 each in December |
Cheapo |
| interesting- i have someone come every 3 weeks. I tip her every time, usually 20% |
This feels about right to me. We do not tip at all for a normal clean and the entire price of an extra clean feels like too much |
| I tip the amount of a clean. So if you pay $170. When they come I would give them $340. $170 for the clean and $170 tip. |
| Why would I tip my wife? |
How much should I be tipping? For monthly and for holiday? |
| Nothing until the holidays and then the price of one cleaning. |
