Hey Glenn Youngkin, why am I still paying tax on groceries?

You literally campaigned on getting rid of them. Theee different sales taxes on my grocery bill today.

What are you doing in office besides posturing for the MAGA crowd, putting your feet in your mouth on the regular and fantasizing you can be president (hint: you can’t).

I thought they were getting rid of the Virginia state safety inspection too? I hate that thing. I’d rather just pay the state an extra $16 or whatever it is to register my vehicle each year even if no one is doing the physical work of looking at my car.

Yeah, I got a $500 tax rebate from Virginia this year. They need to cut that grocery tax.

The Democrats in the Virginia Assembly voted down a proposed suspension of the gas tax. Gov. Youngkin was willing to sign it.

Given that precedent, the Democrats in the General Assembly likely won't give you a break on your groceries, either.

Go talk to the Democrats in the Virginia General Assembly. They are the ones who won't give you a break.

When Youngkin made his promise, was he aware that he doesn't get to unilaterally decide? That he has to work with the VGA to get things passed?

Well I mean to be fair, it was nearly impossible to know just how moronic the democrats in the state leg are this term. Who could’ve guessed they collectively have the IQ of a preschool class.

What? They are not getting rid of the safety inspection. And why would you want that?!?

The suspension of the gas tax was a stupid idea that benefitted companies more than individuals and at great cost to funds for roads.
