Fresh start today!

Ok guys, I ate terribly yesterday. Not just the delicious thanksgiving food but it was like the floodgates opened and I just ate junk “because it was thanksgiving” all day. I wasn’t doing amazing the week before that either. Trying to let it go and move on for a really healthy day today. Started with a high protein breakfast. Anyone else in the same boat?

Who cares if you ate terribly. You don't need a 'fresh start', just go back to eating normally.

Are the leftovers gone? If not, it’s too early for a fresh start.

We refused to bring any leftovers home. One of my few good decisions yesterday!

And THIS^^^ boys and girls is why and how we have so many overweight people in the world. it's this kind of "I'll worry about it tomorrow" mentality that leads to obesity, and also leads to regrettable behaviors such as drinking too much and living beyond your means.

There will always be a slice of cake to eat, a bottle of wine to drink, and a new expensive handbag to buy - but you need to restrain yourself. Or don't, and stay right where you are.

Yes, OP I’m in the same boat! I did so much better today. I avoided all sweets! (the sweetest thing I ate today was a few grapes).
