Next time you need to book the accommodations. This wouldn’t work in my house either. My shortest kid is my night now and I come up to the shoulders of my oldest. |

My kids do fine on one couch, but I hear you, OP. If your kids can't, they can't. I'm sure you'll find ways to make your husband's life miserable in the coming days...

Yes, this is the exact issue. And believe me, I’ve booked almost every accommodation for the last 20 years. He offered to book this near his family and I did t “check his work” this time. |

OP, I am with you.
Today, is my anniversary. Husband had the day off. I’m cooking tomorrow and we had nice dinner reservations tonight. Luckily only one guest coming over. What did he do? He started work on the master bedroom closet renovation. Why today of all days? Only his brain knows the answer. I don’t even have a bed to sleep on. I canceled reservations and I’m moping on the swing set. Just a vent and commiseration. I’ll try to be thankful for him tomorrow. |
