I gained 30 lbs over the pandemic. I wasn’t working out anymore, ordering food delivery constantly, and was eating treats and drinking alcohol to get through. At the beginning of this year I said enough! I started going to the gym again, cooking, and being mindful about what I eat. I’ve lost 15lbs. However I’ve been at the same weight for the last 5 months. I’m so confused?!?! I know muscles weighs more than fat, but my actual body shape is not changing much. Is this just me getting older? |
calorie count. you've already lost 15lbs which is great, if you want to lose more then restrict your intake.
It's nothing to do with age, I'm 53 and chronically ill and I've lost 30 lbs since May. |
Great job OP! 15 lbs is nothing to sneeze at. Agree w/ pp. download a calorie counting app (I like Lose It!, free version is fine), track everything you eat and see where you can cut. The older you get, the less calories you can consume, but I suspect there’s a slice of bread that could be cut.
But do this after the holiday. They are hard enough. Good luck, I’m right behind you. |
Sorry but she has nothing to do with it. You want to lose weight, then stop eating. |
