Pot Luck Ideas…Christmas Party

Anonymous
I’m going to a Christmas party. It’s a pot luck, and struggling with ideas of what time bring. Any thoughts and/or recipes? Most of my dishes are Easter and Fourth of July appropriate.

I like to make my life easy. I'd bring cookies that are somewhat holiday-esque.

A warm appetizer or decadent dessert. Something with citrus or cranberries in it as a side dish.

They didn’t tell you what “category” to work with? It’s going to be all desserts…

You can do a Christmasy salad with spinach, dried cranberries, spiced nuts, etc. I like to add roasted butternut squash.

You should never be allowed to bring any food anywhere. You can be in charge of napkins, only.

Grape jelly and chili sauce. It’s a thing. It’s been around forever but I only had it for the first time a few years ago…don’t knock it til you’ve tried it.

It’s a Midwestern staple. Personally I don’t like my meat sweet.
