I've got sweet potatoes covered, mostly looking for green veggies, maybe carrots. Anything, really. Thanks!
This one is wonderful: https://barefootcontessa.com/recipes/green-beans-gremolata?fbclid=IwAR1titWcO9G8CY8A7RreNWeq69pwT_WGQSMjP__NP-gWsYrsCUu3b-WoGgs |
Our family always includes honey balsamic roasted brussel sprouts which are always a winner. I don't make them and don't have a recipe, but any roasted veggies are always easy.
This is so so good. Parsnips are key. But delish for beets etc too. https://www.spoonforkbacon.com/cheesy-root-vegetable-gratin/

I saw this green bean recipe in the Post the other day, and I think I’ll give it a try this year. It looks good!

I've made these carrots at Thanksgiving. If you make the yogurt sauce beforehand, put the carrots in the oven while the turkey is resting and they're really easy to throw together.

I always serve something very simple to offer a change from the many sauces and heaviness of most of the meal. I make simple steamed corn from summer corn I cut off when it was peak, and then carrots I make on the stovetop— just sauté in olive oil, salt, and, pepper, then add n a bit of water, cover, and cook for about 6 minutes.
Green beans almondine is always popular.
We keep things simple and just use good ingredients. French cut organic green beans rather than the green beans from a can. We do those with slivered almonds and a carrot soup.

We LOVE these brussels - the balsamic and cranberries add a nice touch!
