My SIL is into mint chocolate. Can someone recommend a higher end mint chocolate that isn’t just something from the grocery store? Ideally delicious but also with lovely packaging, suitable for holiday gifting.
Thanks! |
| If you’re local try calling Chocolate House in DuPont circle. They make their own chocolates but also carry quality bars and might be able to give you recommendations. |

I really like Frango mints - I only see them at Macys at holiday time.

| We bought some from our neighbor girl scout last fall that were actually good and cute for gifting. She just came bye again this past weekend, so I believe the sale is still going on, in case you know any girl scouts. |
| Frangos!!!! Swoon |
If you get Frangos, they make a wide selection of mint chocolates--you can get a box of each of the dark mint, milk mint, and the candy cane one. |
| I've found some really good ones at Rodman's -- specifically Summerdown's Peppermint Cream Dominoes |
| Frangos! Another Plus 1. |
| Fanny May Mint Meltaways - My favorite, even over Frangos! |
| Frangos are the best! |
I love both Frangos and Fannie May - I’m a Chicago girl through and through! |
| My mother in law really likes peppermint (like peppermint bark) so I get her The candy cane Frangos |
| From Seattle so Frangos x 1000! |
+1, this place is terrific. |
