Alternative to Wegmans

What are some other options? Wegmans got rid of plastic bags, and I don't see grocery shopping as a religious experience.

Wegner's. Great for crudites with guacamole and salsa.

The plastic bag thing is really annoying, I agree. I still shop there, if not there then Harris Teeter.

Here’s a novel thought- carry your own bags.

There's a Giant or Safeway every half mile around here. Are you looking for something specific?

For me in VA, Wegmans has the best fruit but poor lettuce, Giant has the best produce overall, Safeway has crap produce but better beer and dry goods, and Costco has meat and eggs. WF and HT are not convenient to me.

I wish more stores would get rid of them or at least take those ridiculously small bag holders out of self checkout. There is space foe good sized bags, but they never fit well because of the bag holders. If I try to put my bags on the holder they get stuck.
