We are looking for a short trip with direct flights. Has anyone traveled to west palm beach with kids? I’m looking for advice regarding whether this is a good spot or other suggested locations. Kids are 9 and 11. |
This is not the place I would consider as a good or fun place. It is fine and we would go there when my mil lived nearby but, it isn't a place I would choose. What do you and your kids like to do? What is your budget? |
We have southwest airline credit to use. I was thinking Florida. Kids like swimming and nature. |
It's pretty boring tbh imo |
Any suggestions for other spots in Florida? |
Anything from West Palm to Fort Lauderdale is accessible.
I go to Delray Beach. Cute town not overly built up. Lots of restaurants. Walkable. Beach is big and not too crowded |
Jupiter beach is really pretty. |
There are several beachfront Marriott properties I think on Singer Island or near there. One has a waterslide, one has a kids camp. We took our kids there when they were younger and they enjoyed. |
There will be lots of grandparents for your kids to hang out with there. |
West Palm Beach is fine, but I would look farther south. Fort Lauderdale or Miami. |
4S in Palm Beach is great. Or if you want something a little cheaper with a decent pool the PGA Resort.
|
We went to Marriott Singer Island during covid. Kids were about that age. We all loved it for a four day trip |
Would be incredibly expensive and boring for the kids. I’d go to singer island, Amelia island, Marco island or fly to Savannah or Jacksonville and go to sea island (ga) |
Are you looking for a beach vacation? Fly into PBI and stay in Delray Beach or Jupiter. |
We fly into PBI to stay in Palm Beach or Boca. Love the Four Seasons and Boca Beach Club. Actual West Palm would be boring. |
