DWI? How could an adult do that? I get addiction and desperation. But how does one fail to step up to responsibly for a busload of children? Take a desk job for God sake. Unconscionable

Vast majority of addicts aren’t exactly reasonable, practical people when in the throes of addiction. It’s horrible to think what could have happened to those kids.

I just heard that the third bus that came to pick up the kids was not operational and NONE of the drivers had a CDL license. DCPS heads need to roll. Who hired these fools?

Seriously. There must have been warning signs with this guy. I don’t believe he lived a sober responsible life before suddenly waking up today and deciding to endanger the lives of dozens of children by driving a school bus while wasted. And any bus company that ignored the warning signs must be a total sh*tshow. I could see DCPS getting sued over this
