Yes! But it is still too early for me to watch them. I'll hold out until November.

Netflix has a couple cute Christmas movies coming out too.

Yep (I'm the person you quoted). I saw the trailer and was immediately sold. Also looking forward to the Freddie Prinze Jr one.

Since the pandemic, I WFH like many others. I have already watched 3 Christmas holiday movies this week.

Gah, they've already started airing new Christmas movies? I thought there was an unspoken rule that they have to wait until November 1! Now I'll never catch up!

Ha ha, there are a ton of them! We always record and save a few to watch in July.

Damn. I am watching my first one of the season. It's not even a formula I like. But damn, I have tears in my eyes for this one.

Was it the Christmas ghost one? I didn't think I'd like it, but it got me.

Reviews so far, although I've missed a few, and only half watched most of these:

We Wish You a Married Christmas - okay, but not great. Kind of forgettable.
A Kismet Christmas - so bad. SKIP!
Jolly Good Christmas - decent, and actually filmed in London. Lead is British, but they made him use an American accent, and it is... something.
Ghosts of Christmas Always - leads had great chemistry, and it was a decent twist on a Christmas Carol.
Christmas Bedtime Stories - the twist at the end is soooooooooooo bad.

It's the Christmas Bedtime Stories one. The one the poster above said had a twist at the end that was soooooooooooo bad.

Damn it, I'm just going to spoil it.

I kinda felt bad for her fiance. Whatever happened to him? How awkward for his best friend/fiancee's supposedly dead husband to come back. And the fact that he came back! You mean to tell me he was MIA for three years in deplorable conditions but he still comes home in army fatigues without ANY psychological damage? How did he know his daughter and wife were at the dance? I thought it was going to be his ghost telling her it's okay to marry Pierce but no. He falls back into the family life like nothing ever happened. Once again - where is all the psychological damage? She can easily welcome him back in the home without any getting readjusted to everyone problems?

They should have done the movie without her getting engaged again. Make it so she doesn't even want to date anymore. But poor Pierce.

Yes, very bad twist at the end but damn it, but I was in tears. Tears were in my eyes as I was thinking how bad this twist is.
