Tell me about your favorite sweatpants

Anonymous
With winter drawing near, I need some new sweatpants, for lounging around the house, sleeping in, maybe taking the dog for a late-night walk. What are your favorite cozy sweatpants? Bonus points if they are flattering (inasmuch as sweatpants can be) and suitable for petites. Thanks!

I like the Lou and Grey sweatpants from Loft. Mine fit almost like a jogger, and are really soft!

Vuori Performance Joggers. I have 2 colors and LOVE them.

Vuori Joggers or Athlete Brooklyn Joggers are my favorite.

The ones that don’t leave the store shelf.

I love my Vuori joggers. Love.

Also like my sweats from Aviator Nation.

I've only felt the Vuori material in a store and never tried on a pair (put off by the cost though have heard the hype!)... are they truly warm enough to wear when it's under 55 degrees? They seem so incredibly thin, like any cold breeze would just blow right through them. Also, as I understand it, the ankle area is supposed to leave a bit of skin exposed. Again, isn't this freezing in winter?

I'm not the OP but I'm also searching for fluffy, thick, actually warm, full length sweats that look somewhat decent and don't pill after two washes. I've had luck at the Gap before because they sometimes have shorter lengths, or what they consider "ankle" is actually full length on my 5-foot frame.

I have Vuori joggers and they are so thin! Not winter ready at all. And I tried a few pairs of their pants and some are just so unforgiving I could see every dimple on my butt.

My favorite are Athleta balance joggers. I have two pairs now. They are thick and warm. Not super flattering on me because they really are sweatpants, but YMMV.

For fluffy/thick/warm, my go-tos are a pair of pants that for the record are NOT flattering. It's these from Outdoor Voices: https://www.outdoorvoices.com/products/w-nimbus-sweatpant

The pictures are very honest about how they make your butt look (like a pancake). I have a good butt and I'm betting these models do to and these sweats are not "cute" in that area. But what they are is soft, warm, and cozy. Despite how they make my butt look, I'm on my second pair. I wore the first until they literally disintegrated. I don't wear them out of the house basically ever but I wear them at home almost constantly from October to March, and then I'm actually sad when it gets too warm to wear them.

However, they are pricy, and in my search for a more affordable options, I recently found these. Have not tried them yet but my experience with Quince is good so I'm optimistic: https://www.onequince.com/women/organic-heavyweight-boyfriend-jogger

They even might be a smidge more flattering? Whatever, sweatpants are not about looking cute, they are just very practical and as a permanently cold person, I will sacrifice cuteness for warmth and comfort.

For warm & cozy, I have a pair of Uniqlo fleece-lined joggers from a few years ago that I love. But, I don't see them on the website anymore.

I have several pair of Amazon Essential joggers. They are soft and fit well, but on the thinner side. I wear them mostly for lounging around the house.

For super cozy comfort, go with fleece-lined leggings. Athleta makes a pair that are SO soft, comfortable and warm.

Does anyone have sweats or joggers that don't have a drawstring?

I love my beyond yoga weekender pant, so comfy and warm!

I think Vuori is great and just fine for what you describe/this area. Get the "long" version so your ankles are covered.
