I've only felt the Vuori material in a store and never tried on a pair (put off by the cost though have heard the hype!)... are they truly warm enough to wear when it's under 55 degrees? They seem so incredibly thin, like any cold breeze would just blow right through them. Also, as I understand it, the ankle area is supposed to leave a bit of skin exposed. Again, isn't this freezing in winter? I'm not the OP but I'm also searching for fluffy, thick, actually warm, full length sweats that look somewhat decent and don't pill after two washes. I've had luck at the Gap before because they sometimes have shorter lengths, or what they consider "ankle" is actually full length on my 5-foot frame.
For fluffy/thick/warm, my go-tos are a pair of pants that for the record are NOT flattering. It's these from Outdoor Voices: https://www.outdoorvoices.com/products/w-nimbus-sweatpant The pictures are very honest about how they make your butt look (like a pancake). I have a good butt and I'm betting these models do to and these sweats are not "cute" in that area. But what they are is soft, warm, and cozy. Despite how they make my butt look, I'm on my second pair. I wore the first until they literally disintegrated. I don't wear them out of the house basically ever but I wear them at home almost constantly from October to March, and then I'm actually sad when it gets too warm to wear them. However, they are pricy, and in my search for a more affordable options, I recently found these. Have not tried them yet but my experience with Quince is good so I'm optimistic: https://www.onequince.com/women/organic-heavyweight-boyfriend-jogger They even might be a smidge more flattering? Whatever, sweatpants are not about looking cute, they are just very practical and as a permanently cold person, I will sacrifice cuteness for warmth and comfort.
