DP Blake to Justin “ if you knew me (in person) longer you’d have a sense of how flirty and yummy the ball busting will play. It’s my love language. Spicy and playfully bold, never with teeth.” Justin responds by reminding her he has a wife “sorry was just crying my eyes out, wife and kids are leaving again for 5 weeks.” Blake to Justin “I’m just pumping in my trailer if you want to come run lines”. Justin deflects again “eating with the crew.” We see a similar pattern during the dance scene where JB brings up his wife to put some distance between them. My husband would flip if I was texting these kinds of things to another man, but that’s because we’re not in an open marriage. The way some of you are putting your heads in the sand is what’s crazy. |
It’s not really reminding Lively he has a wife to say she and the kids are leaving for five weeks lol. That’s more of a green light than anything tbh. |
It took him hours to respond to her text, which is another pattern. And when he does respond, he sends a picture of his family with the response. Completely deflecting from what she’s talking about and changing the subject. |
Nah, talking someone your wife and kids are going to be gone for five weeks is not the shutdown you argue it is, sorry. Good try though. |
It is justified speculation when the guy is literally on film making out with other men. Straight guys who are happily married do not do that. In addition one of the people he seems to like to kiss and cuddle with is Hugh Jackman, who has been rumored for years to be gay. If you don't like the speculation tell your client to stop making out with men in public. |
Give me an effing break. Your smug sanctimony is not fooling anyone. These are public people who force themselves in our faces every day. They schedule pap walks, they manipulate the media, they have affairs and again manipulate the media so we won’t find find out. These are their people who loathe their fans and the public, treating us like we are stupid. We can talk about them however we want and frankly they do a lot more damage to the gay community by hiding in the closet because the assumption is the public would not buy them as action heroes if they were gay. How completely offensive. I do not care about these people and neither do you so just cut it out. We can see what you’re doing, and again, it’s not working. |
You are taking your narrow personal experience and imposing it on people who lead very different kinds of lives from you. Blake was talking about a scene where she and Baldoni are portraying two people falling in love. She's not discussing TPS reports. Their job involves simulating sex on camera and kissing each other. It's a different setting than whatever you do for a living. There is nothing sexual about pumping milk, it's like the least sexy thing a woman can do unless you have a cow fetish. Justin repeatedly told Blake he could commune with her dead dad. That also super weird and inappropriately personal, but I don't think it means he was hitting in her. I think he's just a woo woo Hollywood type and that's how he talks to people. You guys just like reading into things but that doesn't make it true. |
I agree with all of this. She hit on him repeatedly and was rejected repeatedly. Then she got mad and here we are … |
This post is so gross and I’m so tired of the hate thoughts this person posts here. They are always the worst posts in the thread, written in the same style. How this person walks around in life spewing out these things, I cannot imagine. Their poor family. |
We’ll have to agree to disagree because I think a lot of her texts and comments to him were inappropriate, especially given how she portrays herself now in her complaint where every little thing is offensive to her. Even the pumping, a more appropriate text would’ve been “Do you want to run some lines in my trailer? Just a heads up that I’m pumping. Hope that’s ok?” Why was she assuming he’d be ok with that? |
You are an idiot, and yes, I said that. |
I agree. And where the open marriage becomes relevant is once you realize and accept that she and Ryan likely had an open marriage, things become a lot more clear. She started out flirty and then started taking offense to perceived slights after he denied her advances. The fat shaming is a good example. It’s quite a leap to think your coworker is fat shaming you by referring you to a probiotic specialist or whatever unless you’re incredibly sensitive. Similarly the “sexy comment.” Apparently he called her outfit frumpy at first and she got upset so he was trying to appease her and said “actually, it’s sexy.” |
You are the one who is taking your experience at a run of the mill accounting firm or law firm and trying to place it on a Hollywood set. Onset affairs happen all the time. Especially if Blake and Ryan have an open marriage makes sense that she was putting herself out there. I find it very strange that Blake was saying that she felt very uncomfortable with Justin, but was comfortable enough to invite her personal trailer to watch her pump milk. Sorry that does not track. Same with Jamie Heath - she couldn’t make the producer meeting happening later so while she was trying to breast-feed and get body makeup removed, she invited the CEO into her trailer. Very, very strange behavior from Blake. |
No. You intentionally come to this thread to try to instigate a flip take on things to promote a pro-lively narrative and then hide behind it with a “I see things differently” narrative meant to diffuse what everyone else sees as 100% Lively coming into Baldoni. You have been doing this for 700 pages! You want to believe that you are that one juror that will see all the evidence from a completely opposite lens. Furthermore, I’m convinced you do this just to stir the pot, just to drive more debate so that you can regurgitate your points for the 500th time. It’s a game and you know it. Idiot. |
Obviously telling someone you are pumping is notice that you... are pumping. If he doesn't feel comfortable with that, he doesn't have to come. But also you can pump fully clothed -- I used to pump at work all the time and it was not a boobs out situation at all (as I would not have felt comfortable with that even in my office with the door closed). I wore a cover and did it discreetly. It's just not a come on at all. I also don't get how the email with "never with teeth" is a come on either, to be honest. She's obviously talking about how she would play the scene in character, and discussing her strengths as an actor. She's referring to how she wants the scene to play for an audience, not how she wants the scene to make Justin feel. And she's telling him he will be happy with her performance, as a director. She's using bawdy language but that's incredibly common among performers -- I have friends who work in theater and film/tv and this is just how many of them talk. I would feel differently if she were referencing her own body or his, but she's just using figurative language to describe how she wants the scene to play for an audience. |
