Seriously, you think Robert White would have been better, he's to the LEFT of Bowser. The guy challenging Bowser, Rodney Grant, was a comedian and has no experience. You can hate Bowser all you want, just know she's way better than the alternatives.
Sorry, Tony Williams is not walking through that door, neither is Fenty. She's miles better than the alternatives of Robert White, Charles Allen and JLG. |
| Charles Allen should never be let near the Mayor's office...same for Nadaeu |
| Bowser is mid |
| Fenty and Gray = Carter and Ford |
| I actually liked Gray |

I agree. I actually wound up voting for White and Erin Palmer in the primary but am not glad neither won. I don't like Bowser or Mendo at this point but I don't think the proposals of the people running to their left make sense when you look at the problems the city is facing. Same with Charles Allen.
I'd like to see more pragmatic progressives like Christina Henderson. This is basically what Williams and Fenty were, plus Williams was a very dynamic and gifted politician who got people excited about things. That's an underrated skill in DC politics these days. |
| Rodney Grant has my vote. And I know nothing about how. F Bowser. |
I think Bowser is awful, and I would love to vote for someone else, but I can’t for Rodney Grant. It’s very frustrating. |
| I'm leaving it blank on purpose. F Bowser |
Yep. Voting for ‘Red Grant. Can’t be any worse than the current sh!tshow. |
| Writing in Vincent Gray. |
| Textbook example of the problems that emerge when there's one-party rule. |
That sounds better than Bowser. |
Yes indeed. When the primary election is in fact your general election, you get representation by the incumbent-machine candidate that only appealed to the most strident party members, with rest of the vote being split amongst multiple other challengers. Combine that with a “vote for _____ party no matter who’s running”, and you get the dysfunctional govts single party rule fosters. This isn’t complicated. |
Why don’t more Republican voters move to DC? Why don’t they want to live here? Rural Virginia and Maryland also have “one party rule.” Is that not a problem there? Seems like they can’t handle their high per capita crime rates and fentanyl overdoses. |
