Me! For some reason I've been on a Lover kick recently. In hindsight it is word for word what had been going on with her and Joe. Can't wait for an update on where they are on their romance. This is such a great album for that butterflies mind games stage of new love.
Tay always SAYS the songs are about anyone and anybody, but she can't help herself, they are real time play by plays of her romances.
It's like the next book in a series!

I'm looking forward to it!

I’m so excited. I’m hoping to stay up until midnight and do a quick listen before bed.

I can’t believe it has been nearly two years since Evermore! I can’t wait for new songs!

Teen daughter and I are so excited! We’re staying up late Thursday night so we can listen.
Really hoping tour rumors are true!

I am so excited. We are taking a long drive Friday, I plan on giving the kids their iPads and I’m going to enjoy the new album.

We love TS and are looking forward to her album.

I’m sad that there are now all these crazy hoops to jump through for tour tickets though and even if you “succeed” it’s $300pp for nosebleeds in an outdoor stadium. Hard pass on that part, even though my girls will be disappointed and some of their friends parents will pay for good seats. Such is life around here through.

I cent wait! But I agree with PP - it’ll be impossible to get/afford tickets. My DD went with DH to the 1989 concert (I declined because I wasn’t a fan at that time but I ended up loving that album). I doubt we’ll even try this time around.

I can't wait!

I had been looking forward to the Lover tour. Our kids were just the right age and would have loved it. Locer was such an upbeat and happy album, and I loved the candy-colored visuals she started to roll out to go along with it. We were so disappointed when Covid hit and pre-empted the tour.

While I loved that she was so prolific during Covid, I didn't like her recent albums as much. Thoughtful but ultimately dull, IMHO. Hoping Midnight is concert-worthy!!

I hope there is a tour! Our Lover's tickets to see her in LA were canceled.

Her The National producer that did the last two isn’t working on this album so it will be!

There are some concert worthy songs on those albums. August, Gold Rush, and Champagne problems would fit, plus songs could be remixed. It would be amazing if she played a stadium at each tour stop with the upbeat hits and a smaller venue for folklore/evermore. I prefer the last two albums and would love to see those performed somewhere like the kennedy center of wolf trap. Prices would be astronomical.
