Toy gift idea for 3 y/o who likes order

Anonymous
My 3 y/o nephew puts everything in ROYGBIV color order and loves to makes items symmetrical and orderly (ex all toys facing certain direction, in color order, descending by height). My daughter is 8 months old so we haven’t become as familiar with toys for older kids. Does anyone have any specific toy recommendations? Google search was unsuccessful. Thanks!

I feel like my son was VERY into Paw Patrol, hot wheels cars, and monster trucks at that age. Fire engines too. I honestly wouldn't focus so much on how he likes to order things but rather what things he likes. If you ask your sibling they may also be able to give you solid examples of things he's currently into.

He can do that with a set of those larger-sized Legos.

Playdoh is perfect for this age.

What is he into though? Into hot wheels? Get him some new hotwheels cars with a fancy organized case. Likes legos? Get him a new Lego set and a Lego organizer.

My pediatrician says 3 is the age to introduce a board game. Helps with taking turns and following basic rules. He may love the order of a board game. Obviously board games for toddlers are specifically for them but I bet you can find a good one.

For board games the My First orchard is lovely. Also has different colors that need to be arranged and he would enjoy it. HABA My Very First Games - First Orchard Cooperative Board Game for 2 Year Olds (Made in Germany) https://a.co/d/4apI1Vh

We got this too for my color and order loving kid:

Those toy fruits you can cut in half with the toy knife and then velcro back together. They come in plastic or wood depending on how much you want to spend.

Hot wheels cars with a case is a good idea. But he's too young for legos, especially since you have a younger child who could choke on Legos

I agree, but maybe not for this particular kid unless they'd be into the tactile part of it.

I've seen kids who like order get stressed about colors mixing or a little bit of one color getting onto another. Actually, I've seen adults who can barely handle watching a kid squish together more than one color and then press the swirly mixture into a container with a lid that doesn't match!
