The stock market is for old people and the young get fleeced .

We pulled out years ago and invest in real estate,

Real property is only worth as much as someone wants to pay for it. Buying power is, for better or worse, very much connected to the stock market.

I was just thinking the same thing. Yahoo is more a Gen-X thing.

Plus, millennial at the high net worth mark were already from rich families anyway. Not impressed that you invested your parents' money in real estate.

I also think one of the issues here is lack of patience. Younger generations want results NOW. They want to be rich NOW. The idea that you have to invest, put money away, and wait years for results is completely foreign to the younger, immediate gratification generations.

I mean, they can't even sit through a commercial, read more than 280 characters or watch a video longer than 90 seconds. these kids are not equipped for the stock market.

This article is nonsense. GenX went through the dot.com crash and 9/11, as well as everything else Millenials did

On top of that GenX saw much bigger real estate appreciation in their lifetime. While real estate has performed well it’s nothing like the 90-2000s run

Um, what

Both my siblings are Gen Zers. They have Robin Hood accounts. Both wonder if they’ll ever afford to be home owners. One of them owns a bunch of NFTs.
