Liz Cheney, Republican nominee for President

Assuming Joe Biden is the democratic nominee for president, what if democrats launch a campaign to register Dems as Republicans and vote for Liz Cheney or someone more tolerable as the Republican nominee for President. Will that strategy work? Has any research been done on this? I'm talking all or most primary voters in say, Texas, voting for Liz while the hardcore Republicans vote for Ron or Donny.

No. RNC won't have a R primary. Rs no longer believe in free elections.

Work for what? Getting Liz the nomination. Beating dementia Joe? Getting Trump re-elected.

Hard pass. She’s still a repuke. And her usefulness is over now so she’s dead to me. But I’d love to see her get the nomination because most GOP’rs would just stay home instead of voting. Which would be perfect.
