| I made a creamy chicken and rice soup. I have jussst enough to serve a small helping to everyone, but there’s no way it’ll be enough to fill my husband/boys. I’ll serve a salad, too, but I’m looking for something else to go along with it that isn’t bread, if can help it. I’m stumped. Any ideas? |
| Something veggie heavy like ratatouille? |
| quiche |
| BLT sandwiches |
Hard to make without bread. |
| Add a veg (broccoli?) and more cream/chicken broth to the soup to make it so you have larger helpings for all? Or a hardier vegetable side like roasted artichokes or Brussel sprouts? |
| Bread would be the logical choice. Absent that, maybe add something to the salad. |

If you have eggs, you can make a souffle.
Lettuce wraps work. For the boys and your husband, you an add more meat or protein to the wraps. For you (I'm assuming that if you are avoiding bread, you are dieting), you can use more vegetables. |
| I hope you’re just out of bread and not projecting your diet onto the entire family. If you are, make grilled cheese for them |

Tuna and potato patties. There are many recipes available online.
Serve with a small salad and a small bowl of cream of chicken and rice soup. |
Double jeopardy! |
| I make fried pickles when I serve soup for dinner. My family always complains about soup, so this helps appease their appetites. We do soup, salad, homemade bread, and the pickles. |

Second dinner? Aka expect heavy snacking throughout the night.
What’s wrong with bread? |
| Serve a full helping to the kids and make something else for you and DH. |
