Favorite lower carb hacks for satiety. Cutting white flour, sugar, & dairy.

Anonymous
I am trying to cut out the whites. Flour, sugar, and dairy. I have far exceeded my allowance for these this year. I’m looking for filling hacks of my favorite foods. I still eat all vegetables and always will. Any ideas?

I like Rx bars. They aren’t low carb, but they aren’t very high either. They are made with dates, nuts, egg whites. That is about it. They have a good profile of fats, fiber, carbs without white flour or refined/added sugar

Hardboiled eggs, avocado, egg salad or tuna salad on top of a green salad. Very low carb and filling due to the protein + fat. Also make sure you're drinking enough water - carbs make you thirsty but protein doesn't so you might accidentally stop taking in a good amount.

Chickpeas are not remotely low carb.

I like crunch, and have been doing celery with cream cheese or laughing cow cheese and everything seasoning or sundried tomato. But you can skip the dairy and do nut butters or avocado.

I also like rice cakes. Hard boiled eggs. Olives or pickles.

How can we hack your favorite foods if we don’t know what they are?

It’s not no carb but the low carb pasta nocarbona is really good. Low carb tortillas are good too.

We do lots of stir fries and just use extra veggies instead of rice.

Zucchini pizza boats or taco bowls. Zucchini lasagna roll ups.
