Book banning PA

A Pennsylvania school district has banned "Girls Who Code" in its purging of books, saying the series encouraging girls to get into STEM is too "activist."

Vote Blue people the whole ticket. Because this 100% shows Republicans are complete and utter idiots.

5. Religion in schools ( which one will it be? Look at SCOTUS, not evangelical LOL)
6. Social Security- that is your hard-earned monies are you letting them take it because they are going to it's their talking point!
7. Health plan and the border wall -instead of either one of these Trump stole billions from taxpayers Repukes enabled him and many stole from you as well. Who builds a wall on a riverbed and then goes to jail for embezzlement all those trump companies he hired! Where the hell is a health plan to replace ACA?

I heard about this and don't exactly know why the books were banned. Do all the main characters have two moms?

I looked at them and considered ordering them for my DS who likes coding. But I figured out why they were banned. In the first couple books, the girls are all boy crazy. In one of the books, one of the MCs (they are 9) has a crush on another girl. Nope, these are not books that my DS will like. He wouldn't want to read about boy-girl crushes or girl-girl crushes.
