I have no experience with Broncos...or Fords, frankly. Any strong thoughts from anyone?

| I've liked the new Broncos ever since they were reintroduced. And I'm not an SUV person/off road person. |
| I test drove it and hated it. There was like too much front hood visible - it didn’t slope down like on most cars. And it was a pretty rough ride. I’m used to smooth. |

The red and white! <3<3
https://www.ford.com/suvs/bronco/ I will definitely test drive one, so if they're uncomfortable, that will suck. I have a Nissan truck now, and it's decent...but, I LOVE comfort. |

I prefer it in white, OJ edition:

OJ, the legend, the hero! |
| I believe that the Bronco has had 2 recalls already. One was for door panels falling off. Another for windows detaching. Another for 4 door Broncos that can be opened from inside even though child safety latch is on. Engine valve problems at 2,500 miles is common. Ford quality is not good. |
UGH. [OP] |

This is why it generally isn’t a good choice to buy any car in its first model year of production. Ford will work it out. They don’t sell hundreds of thousands of F150s for no reason.
The same 2,7l Ecoboost is used in both the Bronco and F150 so folks will have to wait and see what’s really going on. |

Bronco (serious off roader to compete with Jeep Wrangler) and Bronco Sport (Compact SUV to compete with Rav4/CRV) are very different vehicles.
With the Bronco Sport, I would be worried about the small, 3 cylinder engine in the base model (since the Bronco sport is a heavy car), but it seems to drive fine and really is not much different than the small base 4 in the Rav4/CRV. You can get a bigger, stronger V-4 motor in the higher trim levels for the Bronco sport, but the costs for the high trim levels can climb north of $40K. Also, the back seat for the Bronco Sport is pretty tight. |
| My nephew ordered one early this year and it still hasn’t started production yet. |
You’re right! I like the Bronco—not the Sport. I was mistaken in my OP. [OP] |
They’re definitely nice looking (the full size one, not the sport - which looks dumb to me). But I don’t think Ford has all the bugs ironed out yet. The valve spring issue really hurt them out of the gate. |
| I much prefer the Bronco to a Jeep Wrangler. Bronco is much roomier inside, and the base 2.3L EcoBoost® Engine has been used for several years in the Mustang and Explorer. |
| I don't buy American cars. Most are absolute junk. I am not a car person so I stick to my Japanese cars that will last forever. |
