I thought Brown was beautiful and felt like what you imagine an Ivy League school looks like.

We had the same experience when we visited in October. Beautiful school and feels very much like an Ivy.

I thought Amherst and Williams were gorgeous, but then again I visited during peak foliage.

I wanted to love campus or cause me grounds and they had some pretty buildings but it was meh. Even the shop and restaurant area was dumpy and not cute and was reminding me of a cheap strip mall.

If you like Princeton then Bryn Mawr should be right up there as well. Gorgeous Collegiate Gothic buildings.

Princeton hired Bryn Mawr's architect because they liked the Collegiate Gothic design so much. Frederick Law Olmstead designed the campus plan.

What does boring and dull even mean in the context of a college campus? Because it's small?

Olmsted worked at Princeton before Bryn Mawr.

Toured FSU recently in Tallahassee. Probably not on most people's radars but absolutely gorgeous campus, stunning vegetation with all the oak trees, roses everywhere, and beautiful brick buildings.

It doesn't look at all like the Tuileries or Luxembourg Garden. What gardens are you thinking of?
