Recommend a used luxury car

For under 32k. What is mx mileage you would accept?

I am single and have a dog, so don't need a ton of room, but 4 doors is necessary for the old pooch. I currently have an Audi cabriolet and it is a lemon.

I would go for a Lexus, as they hold up for a long time with very little maintenance. Or just go for a Toyota with a really nice trim package.

I always feel like a grandma when I drive a Toyota....

Stay away from BMW, the problems start around year 3-4

Acura RDX maybe?

I had an MDX that I loved and it lasted forever! It was 12y when I got a new car.

I currently drive a 4yo BMW X3 and love it as well.

+2

I had a used Lexus SUV with over 150k miles when I bought it, and it drove like a dream. Unfortunately things started to go at the 200k mark but I feel like I more than got my money’s worth. I’m in the market for a new car and definitely leaning toward Lexus. They’re not as flashy as BMW/Mercedes but I think they’re a sound investment as far as cars go.

We love our Acura TLX. Could easily be done at your budget lightly used.

Check Consumer Reports for the Recommended and Not Recommended Used Cars lists, which include the model years.

For that price, I wouldn’t get an old BMW and you’re scared off of Audi. I guess you could look at really old Mercedes? For that price even a Honda or Toyota would be older.

What element of “luxury” are you looking for, OP?

Acura is a luxury car? It's just a Honda with a slightly nicer interior.

Is my DW the OP? She wants a "luxury" car, but not really sure she knows of any features in a luxury car that aren't present in a toyota, honda, or pretty much any other brand. She just wants something most people don't have.
