| I’m looking for unique extracurricular activities for my DS who is ten. Not really interested in popular sports. Any suggestions? |
|
Rock climbing?
My 8 and 10yos have loved it. |
| Our local gameshop has D&D and Pokemon clubs. |
| Consider musical theater. My DD does it and there are never enough boys, so they tend to get better roles. It's a great community to be a part of. |
| Fencing, crew, speed skating. There are a million things we could suggest. Are you looking for sports, or non sports? What interests? |
| Why unique? It would probably be more helpful if we knew your kid's interests beyond not liking popular sports. Music? Art? Outdoors? |
| I dated a guy who went to college on a bowling scholarship. He said nobody does bowling and there was a lot of money available. Start young! |
| Sailing |
|
Horseback riding? I don't know why boys aren't as represented as girls.
Ballet? My son did that for years and it was a good time for him. |

Robotics club
Chess Lego League Parkour/ninja warrior-type classes Golf Tennis Scouts Marital Arts Piano, guitar, other musical instruments |
| Thanks! This is OP. Just looking to expose him to something new/unique- could be a sport or non-sport. These are some great suggestions so far. |

I think you mean less common. Unique means "being the only one of its kind; unlike anything else."
Sorry, its one of my pet peeves. Along with "literally." |
Most of those are actually very common/popular. |
