| DD is entering kindergarten. In preschool/daycare, I put sunscreen and bug spray on every morning before school because they were outside most of the day. I think they only have half an hour of recess in kindergarten, right? She’s in APS. Plus I guess some time waiting for the bus and maybe PE some days (have no idea when that is). Also no idea if lunch is inside or out. |

Bug spray isn't needed.
I put sunscreen on my DC's faces because they burn easily. Most of their friends don't wear sunscreen and are fine. |
| for outdoor camp, yes. For school, no. Recess is less than an hour unfortunately. |
| Just sunscreen |
| Nope. |
| Sunscreen yes during the warmer months, bug spray no, bugs are always worse in the late afternoons/evenings when they’re not at school anyway so it doesn’t seem useful. |

Face sunscreen AND hat: always
Arms/legs sunscreen: sometimes, if it's very sunny, especially if I think there's a good chance they'll be outside for more than an hour (which is rare, sadly) Bugspray: never unless specifically requested (like if they doing a day in the school garden, the teachers usually give us a heads up and I will do bug spray and even give my kid one of those bug repellant bracelets) |

Nice for you and your kids. My DS has terrible reactions to any bug bite. |
Mine does too, but I don’t put bug spray on every day for school! No one would sit next to the smelly kid all morning, and it would wear off by recess anyway. We do for outdoor camps but not school. |
| No. But I’m super lazy. I do try for camp and pack it as well. |
Sitting next to my "smelly" kid is not an option. Teacher decides seating arrangements. |
