| They’ll need more staff at the IRS to handle the millions of cases of forgiven debt which is taxable income . |
Do they plan to tell people they are forgiving loans at gunpoint? |
i bet most people aren’t going to object to loans being forgiven but I’m sure they’ll have to take some kind of action I doubt it will automatically be done |
| No. The IRS has been understaffed for years. They’re trying to hire for that and clear the backlog of other stuff… |
weird how veterans affairs is backlogged but they aren’t doing a huge hiring |
Nor are they doing it for border agents. I think they ought to send the gun-toting ready to use "deadly force" IRS agents to the border. |
| They have been cutting the IRS's budget for several years. Even more under Trump. The VA hasn't had its budget cut. They just suck at what they do. Signed, woman married to retired military man. |
Certainly in the past the IRS has engaged the likes of Big 4 consulting companies to recommend channels for outreach to those that might qualify for the Earned Income Tax Credit. |
|
there are people waiting on tax refunds
this doesn't sounds like your typical paper pusher, though. |
| You wish |
| lol no. more like more agents to hunt people down |
LOL. No. |
It’s an ad for IRS law enforcement officers. Every federal agency has gun toting law enforcement officers. Even the Federal Reserve and EPA. Someone has to protect premises, provide physical security, etc. |
