Can ramping up exercise/walking/two a days make an actual difference in weight loss?

I am eating very clean and balanced. My calories are reasonable. Not too low and not too high. I’m eating no white sugar or processed food.

It will if you keep your calories constant. The trick is not eating more, which your body will want to do with the extra activity

Yes! Muscle burns more calories than fat. Any exercise helps. Just don’t eat back your calories.

Two days? No, that's completely insignificant. It needs to be at least 5 days

This. Early in the pandemic, I lost 22 lbs because I suddenly had time to exercise.

No, OP wrote "2 a days", meaning walks twice each day.

And yes, OP. All these things will make a difference. Your body will want more food though as a Pp already stated and you will probably need additional sleep to recover if this is a large ramp up for you.

Two a days. Meaning working out twice daily.

I’ve noticed that I seem to burn more (and have more energy) by splitting my walks in half — 1.5-2.5 miles morning, and 1.5-2 evening. I also walk for any mid day errands.

Yes, you can lose weight by eating clean and walking, if you do it at a fast clip, not a leisurely stroll. Down 17 pounds since my covid weight peaked. 10-15 to go

As long as you don't expect more than very small weight loss each month, like 1-2 pounds a month, and like everyone else said, keep the eating exactly the same. But it will come off, slow and steady. Keep at it and good for you!

Yes. My friend has lost 62lbs from eating clean and walking. But, he walks roughly 13km/day. He's only 13lbs from his GW.
