Why are pro-life women scared of what they asked for?

You’ve been advocating for this for decades and now you’ve got it…it’s too much? WTF

We were in the center before they blew it up and demanded extremism. Christ, how stupid are they? I know everything is a projection from them, but now they’re projecting mid-low intelligence on everyone because that’s where they are. Like we won’t notice they want to go back to the normal we had before.

It’s like some bad b&w movie, or right when they switched over to color (I wasn’t alive then so forgive me for not knowing the exact decade) where the husband cheats and the wife is upset and he wants to go back to how things were before he cheated after things blow up and he realizes divorce could really happen and would suck for him.

I don’t understand why they couldn’t mind their business in the first place. No one was forced to get an abortion before - it was an OPTION. Now in a huge swathe of red states that’s gone.

The biggest problem is when they talk about the extremes on both sides. The extreme on the left, which would be unlimited free abortions for any reason until the baby crowns naturally, is false. The extreme on the right is young children being raped, becoming pregnant, and being forced to carry that child to term, and if it’s not happening they’re damn well trying to make it happen.

And by the way, the only reason we’re not hearing about boys of the same age being raped is because they can’t get pregnant. It’s not just that young girls are being raped, it’s that children across the board are being raped. I thought I’d throw that in now that more people supposedly care about sexual assault and rape of minors. Also, child marriage is legal in more than 40 states. They don’t care about kids.

Excellent response from Mace’s opponent here:

They are fixated on a fantasy world where every pregnancy is beautiful and every baby is a gift, and the only thing preventing that was Roe v Wade. This was *always* symbolic and metaphysical to them, and never grounded in the reality of women’s lives, children’s lives, or parenting.

I should add - this is why CJ John Roberts, who is a smart but essentially normal and mentally healthy person, was the Court moderate on abortion. He’s likely gone through family fertility struggles (since his 2 kids are adopted). I can’t emphasize enough that the other brand of Catholics on the Court are not mentally healthy. They are basically part of a cult where fertility is a religious sacrament and nothing to do with reality.

+1 The court that originally decided Roe was largely conservative. One of the most conservative members, Powell, had an associate whose girlfriend had died from an illegal abortion. Blackmun was a Nixon appointee who had served as general counsel for a hospital so he understood the realities of trying to legislate medical decisions. The current conservative majority does not recognize real life.

They voted to protect abortion rights. Your comment makes no sense.

Kansans voted to protect abortion rights. Nancy Mace and her opponent are in a different red state where voters haven’t had that chance. Mace is trying to “both sides” the abortion debate because she doesn’t want blowback from being on the unpopular side of the abortion debate.

Even worse than not recognizing real life, they know whom they owe for their appointments. They were nominated to fulfill a specific agenda.

Because they wanted slutty women to be punished without hurting themselves. A large % of women who get abortions are actually married, or already have children and can't afford more, but they don't want to hear that.

They're suckers, just like most Rs. They thought the R men actually cared about women.
