If you buy one of those huge bags of rice, what kind of container do you store it and where in the house do you keep it?

One of those rectangular oxo pantry containers. I don't decant most things, but about once a year we see evidence of a mouse or catch one, and the first thing they go for is my plastic bag of rice, making a giant mess. The container works wonders.

I usually buy this bag of rice from Costco. I keep it in the bag. The outer bag has a zipper and inside the rice is in a separate plastic bag that I use a twist tie to close.

At one point, for a party, I bought one of those large containers of some sort of party mix, with a screw on top. I washed it and pour the rice into that. It has a nice wide mouth that the measuring cup will fit through. I keep it on the floor of the pantry in the kitchen. I can scoop out the rice from that container and screw the cap back on.

In a couple big ones of these, I have round and squares, they’re very heavy duty and have well fitting snug lids and round have handles not sure if square do as well.
