| I am personally not a fan of pb backpacks. I prefer llbean backpacks for my kids but my rising 3rd grader had requested a star wars theme pb backpack. Is it too babyish for 3rd grade? Just concerned about being made fun of if its not appropriate for the age. At what age/grade does the pb themed backpacks seem babyish? Thanks |
| Huuuh? |
| I carry a Harry Potter themed bag, so I would say he is good until 40. (I am 39.) |
|
I probably would steer clear of the princess and toy story one for 3rd grade.
But other than that-enjoy |
| my middle schooler has a "pottery barn teen" backpack. I'd say it had held up about the same as the llbean ones she had in elementary school. |
I am talking about star wars Or minecraft backpacks not the ones for teens. |

If your child wants the Star Wars backpack, then no, it is not too baby-ish. I'm really tired of PARENTS being concerned that their child will be made fun of. If it's what your kid wants, let him have it.
Why is the subject line pottery barn backpacks? What does that have to do with anything? |
| My older kid had a Lands End backpack in K - the cup holders are cheap mesh that ripped within a month of school starting. Piece of junk. He has now had an LL Bean backpack since first grade. My younger kid had a Pottery Barn backpack for kindergarten. LL Bean is still going strong, Pottery Barn was destroyed. |
Your kids are rough on their belongings, then. We’ve had backpacks from all of those places and they all held up fine to a year plus of school, camp, and vacation. We have PBK backpacks that are 7 years old that we now use for travel. |
Pottery barn kids backpacks are specific style. All over print type.. |
You are a helicopter wacko |
Thank you for your kindness |
| My (now) 2nd grader has had a PB Star Wars backpack the past two years. He loves it and kids that age are really into SW. He now really wants a Roblox backpack--any idea on where to find one of those? Was hoping he'd just go for the new PB Minecraft ones, but not as interested as Roblox. sigh |
| My rising 4th grade boy chose a PB purple and teal glitter backpack. My response - sure. This should be your response, too. |
Thanks! though i feel that girls can get away with a lot more than boys |
