I don't understand how women wear colorful (non black) leggings and shorts to workout, either indoors or outside. Do you just not sweat from your nether regions? Sorry to be blunt but I need to ask, because either you have a secret (and I must know how you do it) or you're just genetically blessed? |
Curious about this too!!! Would love leggings in fun colors but I can’t. |
If I’m working out, I sweat. Everyone sweats. I don’t care what people think because I’m getting a good workout. I also am not self-centered and don’t think people look at me as closely as you think. |
I think if it's patterned the sweat isn't as noticeable. Do you mean solid colored? Like all green, or peach, or whatever?
I do think working out means you're sweating. And you just move on. |
OP here. I agree that it's just sweat and not a big deal, but admittedly I would be self conscious (I don't think self-centered is the right phrase).
For example, if I go for a run at 6am this time of year, my biker shorts are thoroughly soaked after 2 miles. Ditto for my sports bra. Like through and through. I see people running in solid royal blue LEGGINGS (like full length, during summer!) and I don't see a single drop of sweat darkening the color, from their buttcrack to ankle. I am mystified. Are they just not sweaty people? Is there a secret brand I should know about? I'm not judging them or creeping on them (if I'm running behind them, it's hard not to look and wonder how they do it). |
I barely sweat and never from that area. I'm on the thin side and not very hairy. |
That is correct. I do not. I don't sweat much overall. |
They don’t care OP. They’re working out and not self-conscious. |
I don’t sweat “down there” but it could be that I’m not exerting myself enough? 🤷♀️ |
I would stop the sweaty people and ask them their secret 🤐 |
I sometimes wear lighter colored leggings or bike shorts while running. I sweat profusely up top, but my bottoms get a little damp and in a diffuse way, not leaving uneven spots. My sports bra, however, gets so soaked I have to peel it off. |
+1 never have sweat there |
They sweat, they just don't see their wet crotch from behind. I stand behind them at the gym all the time and see it. It doesn't bother me but I only wear solid dark bottoms just in case. It's like having a visible panty line, either you care or you don't. |
It's likely this is the case most of the time. If you work out hard and your body sweats to naturally cool off then you know what kind of clothes you need to wear. The people walking the dog down the block for exercise can wear whatever they want. |
Same here but I sweat from every inch of my body when I work out. I’m with you, OP, I could never wear those types of leggings. Wish I could but I think it’s just genetics. I like to think I just have a particularly advanced self cooling system haha |
