| Who are "Community Partners for Public Safety"? Sounds more like proselytizing than discussing. |
| Are they required to wear body cams to help ensure student safety? |
It's a community-based group supporting the return of SROs to schools. It's no different than the anti-police activist groups. Just on the other side of the debate. |
Yes. They have for years. |
+1 |
| Oh wow, Magruder's principal Dr. Evans is there. This should be enlightening. |

Watch on face book

| I’m watching. I hope candidates for the county exec candidates are, too. |
Sorry… candidates for the county exec position… This is what happens when I multitask. |
They were not complimentary to any of the political leaders. I thought it was interesting that parent advocate initially got an agreement to meet with Elrich, the Chief, and Dr. McKnight and then Elrich backed out. |
They certainly weren’t. I hope some candidates were listening, but I’m not very optimistic about that. Here are the voices that were missing last year when Elrich pulled the program. |
|
If you watch nothing else, please watch the recent graduate recount how her relationship and trust in her SRO helped her face a crisis moment where a bunch of cops showed up at her house. Minute 31.

Policy by anecdote is bad policy. Good TV, but still bad policy. |
Anecdote is the sole reason Elrich pulled them out. Then violence skyrocketed and there was a school shooting. |
