Anonymous
saving up for Christmas now ? I know its early and none of us have to worry about this, but I am taking to people on FB talking non stop about gas prices and so called inflation........ Do you think is rude to tell them?

Just want them to enjoy Christmas Stress free. the many ways to save get a second job, etc,

Troll! Of course it is rude!

Because when money is tight, what matters is spending as much as possible on Christmas.

How else can you be sure they get you a good present?

You need to accept that not everyone cares about Christmas; and that some people will complain no matter what, particularly on social media. Telling people to save is extremely rude and won’t help, since they’ll complain anyway.

This IS a good time to tell your friends to remove you from their Christmas list.

What information do you have that they don't have? Would your "suggestion" tell them anything they don't already know?

You’re weird, op.

OMG keep your mouth shut. Not only do you sound condescending because you have money, you’d also be telling them that you think they’re stupid, too. Because no one has ever thought up “just save money” and “get a second job” before.

Sure tell us that. Are you expecting a present! That’s the first one cut. Oh wait, we don’t celebrate Christmas.

It’s like telling your fat friend to think about eating less and exercising more. You think they don’t know what they should do? And what do you mean by “so-called inflation”?
Anonymous
MYOB. Sheesh.

Trying to understand why your caution message would automatically focus on Christmas?
