Of course she’s now wanting attention due to her upcoming new role in Scream. She is a train wreck.

She’s talking to the media about her abusive relationship.

So you don't like the fact that she is "seeking attention," so you...start a thread to get her more attention?

I haven't thought about her in years, but Googled her because of your thread. So...good job not giving her attention?

She struggled with addiction, like many people do. She worked hard to overcome it. What, you wish it had killed her? You wish she had killed herself? What is it that would make you happy, for her to die? For her to lose all her money and fail? What is it about her existence that bothers you, personally?

I haven't heard or seen anything from her in years. If she has a new role of course she is going to promote it and herself...

I have no feelings about her, but I do appreciate it when celebrities discuss their struggles because it helps destigmatize things like addiction and domestic violence so that others recognize that it can happen to anyone and seeking help is important.

+1. I don't care if anyone thinks it is silly--I got professional help for anxiety-driven binge eating because Bethenny Frankel talked about it in one of her books.

There are rumors she had a really terrible childhood and was sexually abused as a minor in Hollywood. I always think of her with sympathy (which is only when I see her name in the news).

It’s nice that she is sharing her story. Hopefully it helps others, and hopefully she is on a path to lasting peace.

She is apparently still close to the man alongside whom she was in a bar brawl a few months ago, the same man who she says abused her (he also said he abused her).

Same here. I hope she's on the road to wellness.

Just coming on here to post. Seems like an insensitive, entitled brat. Actually put in print she didn’t want to be around her daughter, then gave her up to her ex-husband to move to Ukraine.

She sucks, and I hope her movie flops.

I’ll add, I’d care more if she appeared to make the same effort to be a mother as she does to promote her movie.

I don't think it destigmatizes things at all. I hate when someone famous acts like they're the first person to have a miscarriage and they're like "We have to TALLLLLLLLK about these things!" as if they haven't been talked about for decades. And when someone like Hayden announces her addiction I just kind of think "no shit lady; you think we couldn't tell?" I mean, this is the woman who gave custody of her daughter to her father and allowed her to be raised in a completely different country. Like, I didn't need a press release to know Kanye was bipolar - it was clear as day from his behaviors.
