Luxury hotel for long weekend

Anonymous
We are looking for a very luxurious getaway for our 15th anniversary, ideally in the US but open to anywhere within a short flight. Timing is either May or October 2023 ideally 4 days, 3 nights but may be able to swing one more.

Currently considering Blackberry Farm or Amangiri, but think the latter is too complicated to get to.

Any other recommendations? Some activities would be great but don’t need a ton. Good food is very important.

Amangiri looks amazing! You could fly into Page, Az, which is super close. You'd have to have a layover, but it looks way cooler than Blackberry Farm.

Amangiri has been on my bucket list for years. If you can make it happen, it seems like it would be an amazing trip.

Sounds right.

Amangiri is amazing - been there twice. It's a bit of a pain to get to but totally worth it. Not for a long weekend, though! You need at least 3-4 full days there. Yes it's very expensive but all meals are included. There's a lot to do there (slot canyons, via ferrata climbing, etc.) but it's also an incredibly serene place to relax.

I'm the quoted PP, and yes, that's why it remains on the bucket list. I've known avid world travelers who went though and said it was a trip like nothing else they have experienced.

I would definitely choose Amangiri over Blackberry having been to both. I don't get the love for Blackberry-- the food is great but it has gotten too big and can feel crowded. Also consider Twin Farms
