He claimed it was a smack - but the surveillance video shows it was nothing bad at all.
WTF ? https://nypost.com/2022/06/26/rudy-giuliani-attacked-inside-staten-island-shoprite/ |
| He needs to go to jail already. |
| Giuliani is a demented, old drunk and has been for years. |
Do you like getting slapped on the back by people you don’t know? |
| Rudy’s such a snowflake. |
On the list of things he deserves... it's not even on the list. |
I can’t name one person I know who wouldn’t be pissed about getting slapped from behind and would be okay with it. And neither can you, snowflake. |
Yes, if someone assaults someone, they do need to go to jail. |
I've received unwanted and unexpected slaps on the back like that a few times in my life and it would never have occurred to me to call the police. |
It was a smack and if it wasn’t doesn’t make it right. |

Assault is assault. You can’t go around slapping people. If it were a woman who got slapped, no matter how lightly, people would hold the man accountable.
However, I think he’s being a whiny little B about it. “I’m 78 and almost fell down and cracked my skull open! It’s a good thing I’m in good shape! Everyone had to hold me up!” is WAY over the top. Call the police, let LEO handle it, don’t make a big deal. He’s just trying to stir the pot. |
You admit they were unwanted. So, why can’t the smack be unwanted by him? That’s your perjorative to not contact police. He is in a different position than you and he has every right to contact police. |
And I've got every right to think he's being an embarrassing cry baby. It's also not close to a (criminal) assault in New York which requires intent to cause physical injury: https://www.nysenate.gov/legislation/laws/PEN/120.00. I presume it's a (tort) assault in which case he can sue for his non-existent damages. |
The “whiny B” is the guy who smacks an old man from behind. |
You’re an embarrassing cry baby for condoning behavior of anyone smacking someone; most especially an elderly person out of the blue who never sees it coming. |
