I'm 43, 5'4", 125 lbs. I'm very fit and active. I do hard strength training twice per week with a personal trainer and we've been focusing on my legs specifically because I'm trying to get rid of some cellulite that's right under my butt.
What worked for you? Any specific products, diet tips, or exercises? |

Foam rolling/myofascial release can help. It doesn't eliminate it and you have to do it regularly.
Also try lymphatic drainage massage (also must be done regularly and doesn't eliminate). |
| It’s genetic and natural and you can’t eliminate it and just accept your body! Enjoy that you are healthy and fit and young! |
| Get rid of sugar, alcohol, processed foods. Lift weights - which you're already doing. Outside of that, whatever is left over is genetic. |

There’s no products that have been definitively proven to eliminate cellulite. Sounds like you’re doing mostly everything you can to reduce it.
I’m roughly the same stats as you, I run and strength train and I have some on my upper thighs. It sits high enough that shorts cover it it and doesn’t bother me. I had a lot more and it went much lower when I gained pregnancy weight. |
| It’s fat, and like all fat you can’t spot reduce it unless you undergo a procedure like liposuction. |
Cellulite isnt fat. Its caused by the loss of collagen underneath the skin. Outside of surgery, the best thing you can do is build muscle in that area which will require putting on a little weight. Stair master and doing heavy glute work has worked wonders for me. |
| My sister in law had a gluten insensitivity and she said when she cut out gluten, it sucked but the one unexpected benefit was that she had less cellulite. She was your age, tall and thin but did not work out regularly beyond the labor she did (she was a stay at home mom fixing up their house). Seems like something to try. I have not tried it myself. I work out religiously and still have cellulite behind my thighs but it lessens or becomes less noticeable when I do a keto diet, which is not something I do regularly as it's not sustainable. |
| I lost 10 lbs and it reduced a lot but didn't disappear. |
| Unless you’re VERY muscular, you likely could lose some weight. Americans are so fat that I’m sure your weight seems very thin. It’s kind of not. I mean I am sure you don’t look fat or even remotely close. But it’s also not surprising at 125 you have some cellulite. |
I'm 5'4 and 115 with cellulite in the same area. I also have a bony torso and would look gross if I lost 10 pounds. I just deal with it and, um, cover my ass with clothing of some sort. |
| Children and even babies have cellulite. Embrace your beautiful body and stop trying to fix something that isn’t broken. |
| Tan or use a self tanner. |

| I’m very slender and muscular but always had a little pocket of it right below each butt cheek where it meets the thigh. Then I took up Pure Barre and I’m not joking, that was gone in 6 weeks. I put on my bathing suit Memorial Day weekend and was like wait a minute… |
